"Our aim is to provide therapies that can help heal and change your life "
||Stress Management is delivered during appointments lasting one hour, once per week for a period of 4 weeks. During the first session we will complete a private and confidential consultation form to assess your medical history, medications, lifestyle (eg. diet, exercise, sleep patterns, etc.) and in particular the areas of your life causing concern. Stress management is unlike counselling (which can be very valuable and helpful) in that we will look at the here and now, with a focus on moving forward in a positive direction within a relaxed atmosphere using a variety of tools, techniques and strategies.
Each week you will be given a simple form to complete that will allow me to assess your progress. In this first session you will gain a greater understanding of stress and you will also learn and take away a valuable technique to use.
During the first and subsequent weeks we will continue to discuss your own particular areas of concern and you will begin to observe and gain a new perspective on your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Each week you will gain new knowledge that will help you to understand yourself and others. Through continued practice of the techniques given you will find that you can feel more relaxed, positive and confident, think more clearly and make decisions you are happy about.

|Originating in India and dating back some 4000 years, this massage technique was initially only used on the head. Nowadays, the areas of the massage have expanded, and my treatments include the upper back, shoulders, arms, neck and face. Based on the ancient practice of medicine known as Ayurveda this relaxing holistic treatment uses acupressure massage to rebalance your body’s energies.
Benefits include stimulation of blood flow to the follicles to deliver nourishing nutrients needed for strong, shiny, and healthy hair along with helping to relieve upper body muscle pain and stiffness. This treatment is carried out seated and will leave you feeling stress-free, clear-headed and alleviate any brain-fog.
Base oils such as Coconut, Sesame, Almond, and Olive have traditionally been used, however, there are many other effective oils I can choose from. 100% pure base oils are packed with Vitamins A to E, Omegas and Essential Fatty Acids (essential for plump, hydrated skin and healthy hair). During treatment, you may choose not to have any oils in your hair.
|The use of pressure point practice on the feet has been studied and researched for centuries by Professors, Neurologists and Physiotherapists, as well as Nobel Prize-winning researchers. Its earliest known use was recorded as far back as 2330 BC on Egyptian hieroglyphs.|
Through painstaking work, the feet (as well as hands, face and ears) have been mapped out showing a correlation between reflex points, internal organs and the systems and structures of the body, including spinal reflexes.
This holistic treatment aims to treat the whole person – mind, body and spirit. The body is divided into zones known as energy channels. Working each zone promotes the body’s own self-healing ability, bringing it back into balance.
Reflexology creates a deep sense of relaxation that combats stress, stimulates the venous and lymphatic circulations thereby nourishing, oxygenating and cleansing the body.
|Emotional and physical stress can disturb the natural pH balance of the skin affecting its appearance. Facial Reflexology is similar to acupressure or shiatsu, and the techniques used help clear the reflexes and local nerve endings of any blockages. Placing light pressure to reflex points in each of the 10 zones not only affects the entire body positively but by stimulating the facial muscles skin tone is improved, leaving you glowing.|
Treatment begins with a soothing facial cleanse, followed by application of the facial therapy mask and finishing with a relaxing facial massage with a regenerating serum for a radiant glow. All products are handmade by me using bespoke blends including nourishing base oils, mineral-rich firming clays, healing aloe vera and antioxidant Vitamin E. (Bespoke natural creams and lotions with or without aromatherapy essential oils can also be handmade on request in advance).
